 New Neighbor Welcome Service, Inc. is a personal greeting service. We greet new residents by meeting with them in their homes and sharing information about their new community, town, and state (if applicable). This includes a civic presentation and introduction to the business community.
Our goal is to educate new residents on the services and products offered in the community. For civic groups, businesses, charities, and local municipalities, we offer an effective method to get your message to those who have just moved into your midst. Presentations primarily reach new residents who live in single family homes.
Those whom we meet are visited in their home, and given welcome gifts provided to them by our advertising clients (known as “sponsors”). These gifts are typically a usable item such as a yard stick, rain gauge, mug or potholder, etc. with the name of the sponsoring business imprinted on it. Residents also hear a spoken message from our clients and are given informational materials provided by our business sponsors.
We also provide the new residents with a complete civics packet, which includes information about our community as well as the state. We give them publications from the North Carolina State Division of Tourism, their County, and municipality. These brochures and/or publications are given to help the new resident become acclimated to the area, help them find activities of interest, and find groups with which they can join—and begin to feel at home.
Because we are not selling anything in the homes we visit, we are very well received. We rarely have anyone decline our in-home presentation with free gifts. Our sponsors are relationships oriented, and appreciate the friendly association that is initiated through our unique one-to-one, word-of-mouth of advertising.
